The Author

His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda is a self-realized spiritual master. As the initiating spiritual master of the Hare Krishna movement, he faithfully presents the teachings of Lord Kṛṣṇa as they are, without change or compromise.

During his manifested līlā, Śrīla Prabhupāda translated and wrote over 70 books, including the Bhagavad-gītā As It Is, Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, and Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, which are revered as authoritative guides for understanding the eternal nature of the soul, the law of karma, and the ultimate goal of life—devotional service to Kṛṣṇa. His writings, based on the Vedic scriptures, are free from speculation and provide a clear path for transcending the cycle of birth and death.
